Mr. Ogilvie brings a wealth of knowledge to the graphite sector. Mr. Ogilvie has been extensively involved in several start-ups, including emerging graphite companies, for over 33 years. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer and Director for both Mega Graphite Inc. and Canada Carbon. Prior to this, in 2007 Mr. Ogilvie led a private investment group in the redevelopment and turnaround of Industrial Minerals Inc. (now known as Northern Graphite Corporation (NGC-TSX.V), a junior mining company that is presently developing one of the largest large-flake natural graphite deposits in the world. Mr. Ogilvie has direct experience in the development of technologies related to the production of graphite ores and the operation of global graphite markets for base and high purity graphite products.
Mr. Windsor is a Mechanical Engineer, Product Consultant and Business / Marketing Strategist with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Windsor has lead diverse teams focused on business development, product strategy and digital marketing for a number of organizations including technology start ups, marketing and advertising agencies and numerous commercial clients. With an interest in go to market strategies, Mr. Windsor has focused extensively on integrating the efforts of product development, marketing professionals, research analysts and a diverse group of downstream production organizations to help develop product launches and campaigns that are effective and measurable.
Dr. Zhongwei Chen
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Zhongwei Chen PhD, MSChE, BSc, Canadian Research Chair and Professor in Advanced Materials for Clean Energy Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Waterloo. Dr. Zhongwei Chen will lead the technology planning, engineering and implementation of all of the Company's clean energy storage and energy creation initiatives. Dr. Chen's research work covers advanced materials and electrodes for PEM fuel cells, Lithium ion batteries and zinc-air batteries. His education: PhD, University of California - Riverside, MSChE, East China University of Science and Technology, China, BS, Nanjing University of Technology, China. His honours and awards; Early Researcher Award, Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation, Ontario, Canada (2012), NSERC Discovery Accelerator Award (2014), Canada Research Chair in Advanced Materials for Clean Energy (2014), and E.W.R Steacie Memorial Fellowship (2016). Chief Commercialization Officer
V-Bond is a Professional Engineer with 30+ years of leading edge product development and engineering management. He has successfully developed and commercialized new ground breaking methods and technologies for various companies; including BionX International (VP of Engineering & CTO), Sumitomo Precision Products (Director of Engineering), United Technologies Aerospace Systems (Project Head of Business Aircraft), General Electric (Director of Engineering), and Magna International (Engineering Manager). V-Bond is currently AMP President and Founder.
V-Bond’s portfolio of product launches include processes and components in Aerospace structures and actuation, automotive electrical systems, Infrastructure components including power plants, drinking/waste water systems and light electric vehicle traction drives. Over the years, V-Bond has patented several applications in both the automotive and aerospace fields.
He is currently an active Board Member at the Ryerson Institute of Aerospace Design and Innovation, as well as a producing member of the SAE A5 Landing Gear Committee.
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Lentz, CPA CGA MBA is Partner and Co-Owner at Wilson Lentz CPA, Chartered Professional Accountants. Anna has spent most of her career in public and private corporate finance and financial reporting, tax compliance and planning, and accounting as CFO/Controller in various industries, including mining, oil and gas, real estate, manufacturing, and engineering. Ms. Lentz earned her MBA in Finance at York University in 1999.
Laurie A. McCarney
Director, Corporate Communications
Ms. McCarney comes to Saint Jean Carbon with over 20 years' experience in sales, marketing, public relations, and senior leadership in a variety of businesses. Ms. McCarney's responsibilities have included strategic planning, financial reporting, publishing, and held various executive positions within companies. With many years in corporate communications, Ms. McCarney's mandate will be to manage and orchestrate all internal and external communications to customers, shareholders and stakeholders while maintaining an up-to-date website and to disseminate important information within our group of companies. Previously, Ms. McCarney served as Director of Corporate Communications for Mega Graphite Inc., and Canada Carbon.
Vice President, Business Development, R&D Facility
Mr. Burack has had over 20 years' of business experience managing client and business development for a number of technology companies including IBM Corporation, EMC Corp., SHL SystemHouse, GE Capital, and Puredata Corp., both in the US and Canada. Mr. Burack's experience has also included business strategy development and sales programs for Canada Carbon Inc. a lump graphite project, where Mark lead the sales team and product development.. Mr. Burack's more personal style, track record in developing mutually beneficial business partnerships and years of experience delivering superior business cases/cost justification make him an excellent asset within Saint Jean Carbon.
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Mr. Old is a sales professional with over 25 years' experience dealing with buyers from an array of industries from retail to manufacturing. In 2007 he assumed the position of VP sales at Industrial Minerals Inc.(IMI) where he was instrumental in developing the Company’s market base by overseeing the completion of multiple Letters of Intent (LOI) for the purchase of most of IMI’s annual natural graphite production. In 2009 and onward Mr. Old consulted for Mega Graphite and later Canada Carbon as VP Sales and Marketing where he would continue to develop strong sales and marketing initiatives while creating global exposure. Presently Mr. Old is developing a strategic client base while enhancing customer relations for Saint Jean Carbon.
